Job summary

Libertana is seeking a Behavioral Respite Program Manager to oversee daily operations, staffing, and service delivery within the Behavioral Respite Program. You will supervise Respite Professionals, ensure compliance with client needs and regulatory standards, and collaborate with Regional Center partners to support growth and quality care.

The role focuses on staff training, documentation, and performance improvements, with on-site responsibilities across service territories as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a management position in a human services related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience providing staff training, supervision, and planning.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with family-centered, strengths-based services.
• Comfortable in diverse home environments and culturally responsive.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Behavioral Respite Program and staffing.
• Supervise Behavioral Respite Professionals delivering behavior management and respite relief.
• Manage caseload and ensure 90% of services are provided.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance is understood, implemented and reinforced.
• Submit Special Incident Reports to VP of Clinical Care.
• Liaison with Regional Center and support program growth.
• Participate in hiring, promotion and staff training; ensure full staffing.
• Drive travel as needed to service territories.
