Responsibilities

• Provides care for adult or geriatric patients 18+, following physician orders.
• Explain treatments and document education in patient chart.
• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment per physician orders.
• Assist with ventilator setup, monitoring, and weaning under physician direction.
• Perform trach care and maintain respiratory therapy equipment.
• Record treatment data and patient responses in charts and MARs.
• Attend departmental meetings and adhere to safety and compliance policies.
