Responsibilities

• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
• Explain treatments and document education in patient chart.
• Conduct physician-prescribed treatments including nebulizers and oxygen therapy.
• Manage ventilators and assist in weaning per protocol.
• Record treatments and patient responses in respiratory care records.
• Perform trach care and tube changes as per policy.
