Job summary

Vibra Healthcare, LLC. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide care for adult and geriatric patients in a Long Term Acute Care setting. The role involves explaining treatments, documenting education, and administering prescribed respiratory therapies under physician direction.

You will set up and monitor ventilators, participate in weaning, and ensure accurate patient records. Trainee support, regular rounds, and equipment maintenance are included.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Practitioner in the state of employment.
• BLS at hire and ACLS within 90 days of employment.
• Must maintain licenses and NBRC credential for the duration of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides care for the adult or geriatric patient (18+).
• Explains treatments and documents patient education.
• Administers physician-prescribed respiratory therapies as ordered.
• Sets up, monitors, and weans ventilators as directed.
• Maintains ventilation and records patient responses.
• Performs trach care and documents changes per policy.
• Maintains and checks respiratory equipment and logs.
• Attends monthly Respiratory Care department meetings.
