Job summary

Vibra Healthcare seeks a Licensed Respiratory Therapist to support diagnosis and treatment of respiratory conditions in adult and geriatric patients. Working under the Respiratory Therapy Manager, you will operate ventilators, perform airway care, and document patient responses in the chart.

You must hold NBRC credentials (CRT or RRT), be licensed in the state, maintain BLS upon hire with ACLS within 90 days, and demonstrate strong communication and documentation skills in a fast-paced LTAC

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.
• Licensed Respiratory Practitioner in the state of employment.
• BLS required on hire; ACLS within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients (18+) as prescribed.
• Explain treatments and document all education in patient charts.
• Set up and operate respiratory equipment; monitor ventilators and assist in weaning as directed.
• Record treatments and patient responses; update MARs and charts.
• Perform routine maintenance, pre-use checks, cleaning and infection control on equipment.
• Attend monthly Respiratory Care departmental meetings and participate in in-services.
