Job summary

The candidate must hold NBRC CRT or RRT credentials, maintain BLS, and obtain ACLS within 90 days. Strong English literacy and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• NBRC credential as CRT or RRT required.
• BLS certification at hire; ACLS within 90 days.
• High School diploma or equivalent; English literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
• Explain procedures and educate patients and caregivers; document education.
• Manage ventilators and assist in ventilator weaning per physician orders.
• Perform trach care and changes per policy; document appropriately.
• Record treatments and patient responses in charts; maintain respiratory care records.
