Job summary

Lionstone Therapy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders across healthcare settings. You will administer oxygen therapy, manage ventilators, and provide airway support while collaborating with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care.

You will document assessments and progress in the EHR, educate patients and families, and respond to emergencies with timely intervention to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and active Respiratory Therapist license; CRT or RRT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' respiratory conditions by evaluating history, exams, and tests.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Administer oxygen therapy, bronchodilators, aerosols, and chest physiotherapy.
• Manage ventilators and non-invasive ventilation devices.
• Provide airway management including suctioning and intubation assistance as needed.
• Monitor responses to treatments and document progress in the EHR.
• Educate patients and families on home management of respiratory conditions.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies, including CPR and acute respiratory failure.
