Job summary

Lionstone Therapy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess, treat, and care for patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders across healthcare settings. You will administer therapies, manage ventilators, and provide airway management with a focus on individualized treatment plans.

You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and the care team, documenting progress in the EHR and educating patients and families on home management.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and active Respiratory Therapist license.
• CRT or RRT certification required.
• Experience in healthcare or acute care preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' respiratory conditions and develop treatment plans.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, bronchodilators, and chest physiotherapy.
• Manage ventilators and non-invasive ventilation devices.
• Provide airway management and tracheostomy care when necessary.
• Monitor patient responses and document in EHR.
• Educate patients and families on home management of respiratory conditions.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies including CPR.
• Perform pulmonary function tests and ABG analysis.
• Collaborate with healthcare team on care plans.
