Job summary

Lionstone Therapy is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to assess, treat, and care for patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders across healthcare settings. The role involves administering oxygen therapy, managing ventilators, and performing diagnostic tests to guide individualized treatment plans.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to optimize lung function, educate patients, and respond promptly to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Respiratory Therapist licensure; CRT or RRT certification required.
• New graduates welcome; healthcare or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' respiratory conditions, interpret tests, and contribute to care plans.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosols, bronchodilators, and chest physiotherapy.
• Manage ventilators and non-invasive ventilation devices with correct settings.
• Provide airway management including suction, intubation assistance, and tracheostomy care when needed.
• Monitor patient response, document progress in the EHR, and adjust therapy as needed.
• Educate patients and families on inhaler use, oxygen therapy, and breathing techniques.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies, coordinate with the medical team.
