Job summary

Lionstone Therapy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders in acute care, long-term care, or hospital settings.

You will administer oxygen therapy, manage ventilators, and perform diagnostic tests while coordinating with physicians and nurses to develop individualized care plans. Strong clinical skills and EHR proficiency are essential, as is effective communication within a healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Respiratory Therapist license.
• CRT or RRT certification required.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Experience in a healthcare or acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' respiratory conditions using history, exams, and tests such as ABGs and PFTs.
• Administer therapies: oxygen, aerosol meds, bronchodilators, chest physiotherapy.
• Manage ventilators and non-invasive ventilation devices.
• Assist airway management and tracheostomy care when needed.
• Monitor patient responses and document progress in EHR.
• Educate patients and families on inhalers, equipment, and breathing techniques.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies (CPR, airway obstruction) and coordinate with medical team.
• Perform PFTs and ABG analysis; report results for planning.
