Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Possesses and Maintains an active CRT or RRT credential.
• Current ACLS and BLS Certification.
• Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory care services under physician orders in a long-term care setting.
• Administers respiratory therapy treatments and monitors patient response.
• Assess pain and intervene to support rehabilitation.
• Maintains infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Documents data in patient records after pulmonary care.
• Operates and maintains respiratory equipment safely and effectively.
• Formulates care plans based on learning needs and evaluates outcomes.
• Collaborates with nursing, physicians, and family to coordinate care.
