Job summary

Sweetwater Care seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to deliver comprehensive respiratory care in a skilled nursing setting. You will work under Nursing leadership to implement physician orders, monitor patient status, and support rehabilitation and care planning.

The role requires active CRT or RRT credentials, ACLS/BLS, and state licensure, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and compassionate patient interaction in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Possesses and maintains an active CRT or RRT credential.
• ACLS and BLS Certification.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders and department policies.
• Administer therapies and monitor patient responses and side effects.
• Assess pain and coordinate interventions to aid rehabilitation.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Document data in medical records after pulmonary procedures.
• Lead shift operations and coordinate with nursing leadership.
