Sweetwater Care in Toledo, OH is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide compassionate respiratory care to our residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will work under the Director of Nursing to implement physician orders and maintain quality of care.

This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus, competitive hourly pay of $41–$47, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for ongoing training within a supportive, patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• Must have current state Respiratory Therapist licensure.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Possesses and Maintains an active CRT or RRT credential.
• Current ACLS and BLS Certification.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Actively participates in performance improvement activities.
• Complies with Health and Safety Standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory care services under physician orders and facility policies.
• Administers therapies and interventions, monitors patient response and side effects.
• Assess pain and coordinate with nursing for rehab participation.
• Maintains infection control and equipment sterilization.
• Documents data in medical records after pulmonary care.
• Operates and maintains respiratory equipment safely.
