Sweetwater Care in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to deliver expert respiratory care in a skilled nursing environment, supporting residents' health and quality of life.

The role includes supervising shifts, administering therapies, following physician orders, ensuring infection control, and collaborating with the nursing team to optimize patient outcomes. Full-time, 10-12 hour shifts, with rotating days and weekends; $41–$47 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Current state Respiratory Therapist licensure is required.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Active CRT or RRT credential required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders and facility policies.
• Administer respiratory therapies and monitor patient responses.
• Assess pain and coordinate with nursing for interventions.
• Maintain infection control and equipment sterilization standards.
• Document data in the patient record after therapy sessions.
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment safely.
