Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Possesses and Maintains an active CRT or RRT credential.
• Current ACLS and BLS Certification.
• Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory care services under physician orders in a long-term care setting.
• Administers therapies and monitors for side effects.
• Assesses patients and adjusts care as needed with physician guidance.
• Maintains infection control and equipment sterilization per policy.
• Documents patient data in medical records after therapies.
