What You’ll Be Doing

Here at BridgePoint our Respiratory Therapist – RT is responsible for administering safe and competent respiratory care as ordered by a physician. The Respiratory Therapist – RT monitors mechanical ventilation, administers medications, and completes patient assessments. The Respiratory Therapist – RT must understand ramifications of hemodynamic monitoring, review blood work results, monitor patient status, and participate in teaching and training.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an AMA approved School of Respiratory Care.
• Licenses/Certification: Current credentials as a Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Current licensure from state licensure agency. BLS & ACLS Certifications required.
• Experience: 1 year of respiratory care experience preferred.
• Weekend Work Required: Yes
• Safety Sensitive-Designated Position
