Qualifications

• Graduate of a NBRC approved Respiratory Therapist program.

• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT).
• Current license as Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic procedures per protocol.
• Obtain arterial blood gases.
• Oversee and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.
• Initiate and adjust respiratory protocols and interventions.
• Administer medications safely and monitor effects.
• Communicate patient status to staff and physicians.
• Educate patients and families on self-care techniques.
