What you’ll do:

• Perform day-to-day Respiratory Care, including bronchial hygiene procedures, oxygen initiation and follow-up, and care of Emergency Room patients requiring Respiratory Services.
• Set up and perform complex respiratory care procedures such as continuous artificial ventilation and medication administration.
• Record patient data including ventilatory volumes, pressure/flows, and blood gas analysis.

What you’ll need for this job:

• Associate degree in respiratory care; Bachelor's preferred
• CPR/BLS - American Heart Association
• Current IL state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist at the time of hire or must obtain within 6 months of employment
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through NBRC

Preferred:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certified)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Recognition
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
