Job summary

Performance Home Medical is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) to join our clinical team. You will educate patients and caregivers on respiratory therapies, set up, operate, and troubleshoot devices, and perform home and hospital visits with a patient‑centered focus to improve outcomes.

The role offers a consistent M-F schedule 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with occasional on-call. Must have a Texas RT license, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Must hold an active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Texas.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for home and hospital visits.

Responsibilities

• Educate, support, and empower patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on respiratory therapies and equipment management.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and instruct on a variety of medical devices, including CPAP/Bi-level therapy and home ventilators.
• Conduct home and hospital visits to assess patient needs and provide follow-up care.
• Complete thorough and timely documentation to maintain compliance and patient records.
