Job summary

Performance Home Medical is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) to join our clinical team in Houston, TX. This full-time role features a Monday–Friday schedule, focusing on patient care during home and hospital visits and providing education and support on respiratory therapies and devices.

You will operate CPAP/Bi-level therapy, home ventilators, cough assist devices, and oscillation vests, ensuring devices are properly set up, tested, and maintained.

Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Active Texas Respiratory Therapist license required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for home/hospital visits.
• Passion for patient care and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Educate, support, and empower patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on respiratory therapies and equipment management.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and instruct on medical devices (CPAP/Bi-level therapy, home ventilators, cough assist, oscillation vests).
• Conduct home and hospital visits to assess patient needs and provide follow‑up care.
• Ensure equipment functionality through inspection and testing; complete timely documentation to maintain compliance.
