Job summary

Performance Home Medical in Houston, TX seeks a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our clinical team. You will provide in-home and facility-based respiratory care, educate patients and caregivers, and maintain equipment.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional on-call. A Texas license and valid driver’s license are required, along with a patient‑focused approach and reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CRT or RRT certification.
• Active Texas Respiratory Therapist license required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for home and hospital visits.

Responsibilities

• Educate, support, and empower patients and caregivers on respiratory therapies and equipment management.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and instruct on CPAP/Bi-level therapy, home ventilators, cough assist devices, and oscillation vests.
• Conduct home and hospital visits to assess patient needs and provide follow-up care.
• Complete thorough documentation to maintain compliance and patient records.
