Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation of respiratory disorders under licensed medical direction. The role includes administering care, documenting activities, and performing diagnostics per hospital policy.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an approved respiratory therapy program, PA licensure or TPP, and CRT certification prior to TPP expiration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program.
• PA state licensure or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP) required.
• CRT certification required prior to expiration of the TPP.
• Preferred: RRT credential when available.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory care procedures per policies.
• Completes documentation for charting, billing, and education.
• Performs diagnostic respiratory procedures per policy.
• Provides instruction to patients and healthcare team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
