Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program.
• Pennsylvania state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist, or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP).
• CRT certification required before expiration of TPP.
• Preferred: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Two years' experience in pulmonary/respiratory medicine in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Administers therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to hospital and department policies.
• Completes documentation such as charting, billing, IPOC, and patient/family education.
• Performs diagnostic respiratory procedures per hospital policies.
• Provides instruction to patients and healthcare team as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
