Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates respiratory care equipment for diagnosis/treatment
• Explains treatments and procedures to residents
• Monitors ventilation and adjusts therapies as ordered by physicians
• Maintains ventilator and patient records
• Performs inhalation therapies, oxygen delivery, and chest physiotherapy
• Performs pulse oximetry and arterial blood gas readings
• Maintains safety and sanitation of respiratory equipment
