Job summary

Covina Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing facility team. The RT will operate respiratory care equipment, administer prescribed therapies, and monitor residents closely to ensure safe, effective care.

Requirements include a California Respiratory Care License, BLS certification, and graduation from an accredited program. Weekend/evening availability and background screen are required.

Qualifications

• Current California Respiratory Care License or eligibility.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings; flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate RT equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
• Explain treatments and procedures to residents.
• Manage ventilation and monitor patient responses.
• Record treatments and patient responses in charts.
• Perform pulmonary function tests and oxygen therapy as prescribed.
