Lionstone Therapy in Akron, OH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders in healthcare, long-term care, or acute settings. You will provide therapeutic respiratory care, oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and diagnostic testing.

The role requires collaboration with physicians and nurses, education for patients and families, emergency response, and documentation in the EHR.

Qualificações

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and active Respiratory Therapist license; CRT or RRT certification required.
• New graduates welcome; clinical experience preferred in healthcare or acute care.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work with a healthcare team.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients' respiratory conditions and develop treatment plans.
• Administer oxygen therapy and aerosol medications.
• Manage ventilators and non-invasive ventilation devices.
• Provide airway management, suctioning and tracheostomy care when needed.
• Monitor responses to therapy and document in the EHR system.
• Educate patients and families on home respiratory care and techniques.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies, including CPR and acute respiratory failure.
• Perform pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis.
