Job summary

Lionstone Therapy seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist to assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders in diverse care settings. You will administer therapies, manage ventilation, and collaborate with physicians to tailor treatment plans.

You will document patient progress in the EHR, educate families, and participate in emergency responses to maintain patient stability. Licensure and CRT/RRT certification are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and active Respiratory Therapist license; CRT or RRT certification required.
• Experience in healthcare or acute care settings preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ respiratory conditions through history, exams, and tests.
• Administer oxygen, bronchodilators, and chest physiotherapy as prescribed.
• Manage ventilators and non-invasive ventilation devices.
• Provide airway management including suctioning and tracheostomy care when needed.
• Document in EHR and monitor equipment performance and maintenance.
• Educate patients and families on managing respiratory conditions and devices.
