UMass Memorial Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to monitor and manage patients on mechanical ventilation and support physicians during intubation procedures. The role includes adjusting therapies per protocol, obtaining arterial blood gases, and operating ventilators and oxygen delivery systems.

Qualified candidates will have NBRC RRT credentials, an Associate's degree in Respiratory Care, and will pursue MA licensure within 2 months of hire; weekend and holiday coverage is

Formación

• Critical Care experience required.
• Technical and computer skills relevant to respiratory therapy.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required for new hires.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors and supports patients on mechanical ventilation.
• Assists physicians during intubations and bronchoscopy procedures.
• Establishes treatment plans and adjusts therapy per department protocols.
• Obtains arterial blood gases and analyzes samples.
• Sets up ventilators and oxygen delivery equipment.
