Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 3-night shift, 12-hour duties across campuses in Central Massachusetts. The role includes monitoring ventilated patients and providing airway management under physician guidance.

Required credentials include an MA respiratory license, NBRC RRT, and an Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care. A sign-on bonus may be available and eligibility will be confirmed during interview.

Qualifications

• Current MA respiratory license.
• New graduates have 2 months after hire date to become a registered respiratory therapist as a condition of employment/termination of employment.
• NBRC RRT credential required for new hires; NBRC Continuing Competency compliance expected.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and supports patients on mechanical ventilation and provides respiratory support.
• Assists physicians during intubations and bronchoscopies, and supports procedures at the bedside.
• Establishes treatment plans and adjusts therapy per department protocols.
