Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join our growing home care team in Sioux Falls, SD. You will set up, operate, and educate patients on CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and ventilators, ensuring safe operation and proper usage.

Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions, maintaining patient records, and staying current with respiratory care techniques. Travel within assigned territory required; mileage reimbursement provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed respiratory therapist with CRT or RRT credentials; RN/LPN/EMT may qualify per state laws.
• Ability to educate patients on equipment and treatment plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate on home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP devices and ventilators.
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe, effective operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient data to determine suitable treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain organized patient records in compliance with accreditation standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• On-call after hours and weekends as needed (frequency determined by center size).
