Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide on-site home health care across Illinois. You will conduct oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups during home visits, educate families, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure quality patient care.

This role requires an IL RT license, ability to lift 10–50 lbs, a valid driver's license, and comfort with mobile tech for documentation and communication.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with IL license
• Ability to lift 10–50 lbs and hold a valid driver's license
• Experience with home health care and equipment setups

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to set up oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation gear
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use and maintenance
• Assess patient needs, document care, and escalate concerns as needed
• Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs
• Coordinate with physicians, case managers, and branch teams
• Operate respiratory equipment and perform tests like spirometry
