Job summary

Accendra Health in Indiana is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our on-site care team. The role involves home visits to set up oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment, plus patient education and follow-up.

You’ll collaborate with physicians, case managers, and branch staff, document care using iPad/laptop, and ensure equipment is functioning safely. A valid IN RT license and 2+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with IN RT license.
• Minimum 2 years as RT or RN in respiratory care.
• Must lift 10–50 lbs and drive to branches.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Comfort with mobile tech and navigation apps.

Responsibilities

• Perform home visits to set up oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilation equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on use and maintenance.
• Assess needs, document care, escalate concerns.
• Respond to discharge requests and support patient needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and branch teams.
• Document with iPad/laptop.
• Set up and operate respiratory equipment incl. NIV, PAP.
• Test equipment for proper operation.
• Conduct clinical assessments and vital signs.
