Job summary

Accolade Healthcare in Illinois is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to promote and restore patients' health through assessments, monitoring, and interventions. You will work independently and with the interdisciplinary team to reduce avoidable hospital readmissions.

This role requires CRT or RRT credentials and an active IL license; CPR is required, ACLS preferred. Not a remote position; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, paid leave, uniforms, daily pay, breakroom

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credentials.
• Active license in good standing with Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
• CPR certified required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in Long Term Care or sub-acute settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient evaluation.
• Provide thorough medical record evaluation.
• Provide appropriate treatment to help residents maintain or attain the highest level of respiratory function possible.
• Evaluate, treat, and care for residents with respiratory problems including tracheostomies and suctioning.
• Evaluate resident care and outcomes related to respiratory care and recommend changes to the plan of care.
