Job summary

Lincare in the United States is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing homecare team. You will set up and educate patients on CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and related equipment in patients' homes.

Responsibilities include inspecting devices for safe operation, reviewing prescriptions, maintaining complete patient records, and staying current with pulmonary rehabilitation concepts. The role requires on-call after hours and weekends as needed, with center-size dependent schedules.

Qualifications

• CRTs and RRTs are qualified for this position.
• Must be licensed or eligible to practice as per state and/or national boards.
• Ability to operate and educate patients on home medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate on CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and related home medical devices.
• Inspect and adjust equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient data to determine appropriate treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain complete patient records per accreditation standards.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed.
