Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join our growing home healthcare team. You will set up and educate patients on ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP units, nebulizers, and other devices in patients' homes.

The role involves traveling to patient locations, documenting care, and maintaining equipment safety. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive environment focused on professional growth.

Qualifications

• CRTs and RRTs are qualified for this position.
• Must remain certified, registered, or licensed by the applicable state/national board.
• Must have reliable personal vehicle to visit patients; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and auto insurance in state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate on home medical equipment (CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, ventilators).
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient info to determine suitable treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain patient records per accreditation standards.
• Maintain knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed.
