Job summary

Lionstone Care is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to assess, treat, and manage patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders in a long-term or acute care setting at Heatherdowns Care Center, Toledo, OH.

You will administer oxygen therapy, operate ventilators, perform ABG and PFT tests, document care in the EHR, educate families, and respond to emergencies in collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and active Respiratory Therapist license. CRT or RRT certification required.
• New graduates welcome; healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' respiratory conditions and develop treatment plans.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, bronchodilators, and chest physiotherapy.
• Manage ventilators and airway support; assist in airway management when needed.
• Monitor patient response and document in the EHR system.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care at home; respond to emergencies.
