Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a skilled nursing team serving geriatric residents. The role requires independent assessment, patient care, and routine documentation to support recovery and comfort.

Ideal candidates hold a COARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy credential, state license (RRT or CRT), and BLS certification, with a focus on bedside therapies, ventilation support, and collaborative care with the IDT.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to maintain and progress rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Complete a variety of bedside treatments.
• Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter.
• Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly documentation.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy.
• Follow procedure and protocol of facility.
• Performs related duties as required.
