Elevate Care in Illinois is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our clinical team. You will assess, treat, and monitor residents with respiratory conditions, including oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and patient education.

The role offers flexible scheduling (FT/PT/PRN), daily pay options, and a supportive work environment focused on compassionate, patient-centered care. Collaboration with physicians and nurses to develop personalized care plans.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist License in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience in clinical respiratory care preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and critical thinking.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Respiratory Care Management – Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions, including oxygen therapy and inhaled medications.
• Ventilator Management – Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot ventilators.
• Patient Education – Provide education to patients and families about respiratory care and treatments.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Team – Work with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans.
• Monitor and Record Data – Track patient progress and document treatment outcomes.
• Emergency Response – Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies, including code situations.
