Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the Webster, MA area. The role involves providing all modes of respiratory care, with scheduling that includes evenings and overnights and on-site responsibilities within the Respiratory Therapy department.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program, licensed in MA, and current BLSHP certification, with CEUs maintained per licensure rules.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care.
• Massachusetts respiratory care license (full or limited).
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (BLSHP).
• CEUs maintained per MA licensure regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all modes of respiratory care per policy and procedures.
• Accurately document care and charges in the EMR.
• Participate in department and hospital performance improvement activities.
• Maintain and operate ABG machines and ventilators per protocol.
• Set up and use V60 NIPPV and High Flow Oxygen systems.
• Ensure proper transport and disinfection of non-disposable equipment.
