Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Respiratory Care.
• NBRC RRT credential.
• Massachusetts State Respiratory Care License.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 3 months of employment.
• NRP within 3 months of employment.
• PALS within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Works as part of a team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Reviews patients electronic medical record for history and data.
• Administers aerosolized medications.
• Draws and analyzes arterial blood gases and reports critical values.
• Consults with physician staff to optimize therapy and communicate recommendations.
