Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Respiratory Clinician II for the University Campus in Worcester. The role offers a 36-hour, night-shift schedule with holidays every other. We require an MA-licensed Respiratory Therapist with NBRC RRT certification and an Associate's degree in Respiratory Care.

A sign-on bonus may be available for external hires. You will work across campuses providing ventilatory support, arterial blood gas analysis, and emergency airway management in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

Critical Care experience and technical and computer skills are required.
NBRC RRT credential and state licensure are required at hire.

Responsibilities

Monitors and supports patients on mechanical ventilation and provides respiratory support as needed.
Assists physician/anesthesia during intubations and bronchoscopy procedures.
Establishes treatment plans and adjusts therapy per department protocols.
Obtains arterial blood gases and conducts blood draws for gas analysis.
Sets up and monitors ventilators and oxygen delivery equipment.
Coordinates and maintains high-risk airway carts and participates on the code airway team.
