Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Licensure: NBRC RRT preferred and Massachusetts state license required.

Responsibilities

• Determine treatment goals with physicians and nurses.
• Deliver and assess respiratory therapies.
• Administer aerosol medications and manage ventilatory support.
• Monitor patient responses and vital signs during therapy.
• Educate patients and families on inhaler techniques and device use.
• Assist in education of students and orientation of new staff.
