Qualifications

• AS in Respiratory Therapy and one year of clinical training required.
• Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist license.
• RRT registration within six months of hire.
• BS in Respiratory Therapy and two years of ICU/CC experience preferred.
• ECMO experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional respiratory care including ventilation and airway management.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and transport ventilated patients.
• Assess patient condition and collaborate with the care team.
• Instruct respiratory technicians and students in procedures.
• Document observations and report to supervisor and physicians.
• Participate in education and research activities.
