Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME, seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to perform respiratory therapies and diagnostics under medical direction. You will emphasize assessment, planning, and documentation of care tailored to patient age and needs.

Requirements include an active RCP license, NBRC RRT, BLS/ACLS, with PALS/NRP preferred and 2 years of acute care experience preferred. This is a full-time daytime role with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current State RCP license required.
• RRT NBRC or within 3 months of hire.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• PALS certification preferred.
• NRP certification preferred.
• Associate or BS degree preferred.
• Two years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care with age-specific considerations.
• Potentially lead the RCP section/department during a shift.
