Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME, is hiring a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) new graduate for a night shift. The role delivers basic respiratory care under physician supervision and supports patient assessment and monitoring as you progress toward full licensure.

Graduates from CoARC-accredited programs with NBRC exam eligibility and a Maine temporary license are encouraged to apply. BLS is required, ACLS within three months; PALS/NRP preferred where possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Eligible to sit for NBRC credentialing exams.
• Holds a temporary Respiratory Therapist license from the Maine Board.
• BLS certification at hire; ACLS within 3 months; PALS preferred; NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic respiratory care procedures under supervision.
• Assist in assessment, treatment, and monitoring of cardiopulmonary patients.
• Progress toward licensure and independent practice.
