Job summary

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from NBRC or obtained within three months of hire.
• BLS certification at hire (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS certification at hire (AHA/ARC).
• PALS certification preferred.
• NRP certification preferred.
• Two years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care; consider age-specific needs.
• May serve as Lead RCP during shift.
