AdventHealth in Winter Park, FL is seeking a dedicated respiratory therapist to join our AHMG Pulmonology team. You will administer therapies, evaluate patients, operate equipment, and collaborate with physicians to optimize care.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science, NBRC credential, and State CRT/RRT license plus BLS. Expect daytime hours in a hospital setting with opportunities for growth and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science (required).
• NBRC credential required for new hires; legacy incumbents may continue under transition rules.
• State CRT or RRT license (required) and BLS certification.
• Experience with respiratory therapy equipment and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory therapy treatments to patients.
• Evaluates conditions and develops treatment plans.
• Operates and maintains respiratory equipment and ventilators.
• Monitors responses and adjusts therapies as needed.
• Educates patients and families on care and device use.
• Collaborates with physicians to optimize patient care.
• Performs ABG and pulmonary function tests.
• Provides emergency respiratory care and airway management.
• Documents care and maintains records.
• Ensures safety and infection control compliance.
