Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the Night shift to deliver comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients. Applicants must have an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science with active BLS and State RRT credentials; NBRC RRT preferred.

Qualifications

• NBRC credential must be maintained as a condition of continued role eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine respiratory care procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients per hospital needs.
• Initiate and maintain appropriate therapy, including life support techniques and equipment.
• Provide preventive, supportive, and corrective interventions related to the cardiopulmonary system in patient care areas.
• Collaborate with staff, patients, and families; ensure competency in clinical skills.
• Document and charge procedures accurately; support patient flow and safety.
• Respond to Code Blue emergencies with CPR per AHA guidelines; participate in ventilator management.
