Job summary

The role requires documenting care, communicating with nurses and physicians, managing ventilators and ABG results, and supporting safe, effective therapy. Evening/morning 12-hour shifts are required as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist in GA required.
• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
• Registered or registry-eligible with state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with nurses on patient care issues, ventilator changes and ABG results.
• Communicates with physicians on patient orders and critical ABG results.
• Documents treatments and medications in EMR and patient records.
• Performs assigned therapy and new starts in a timely manner.
• Provides patient education and supports care planning and safety.
