Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Georgia.
• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Registry examination completed or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with nurses, physicians and the interdisciplinary team; provides patient care updates.
• Documents treatments, ventilator settings, ABG results and progress notes in EMR.
• Manages ventilator therapies and evaluates patient responses to therapy.
• Performs shift reports and bedside handoffs to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintains equipment and adheres to safety protocols and error prevention tools.
